k heb jarenlang met veel plezier Masters of Luxury bezocht, maar helaas is het event niet meer wat het ooit was. Dit jaar viel het me op dat er minder interessante stands aanwezig waren en dat het aantal buitenlandse exposanten leek toe te nemen, die het gevoel gaven meer gericht te zijn  op snelle verkoop van dure artikelen zonder echte toegevoegde waarde, in plaats van het bieden van een hoogwaardige ervaring.

Het evenement leek meer op een commerciële markt, met een focus op proppers in plaats van de luxe en exclusiviteit die ik gewend was. Erg jammer, want ik keek altijd uit naar mijn bezoek. Voor mij was dit de laatste keer; het is de lange rit niet meer waard. Hopelijk vindt Masters of Luxury in de toekomst een manier om de oorspronkelijke kwaliteit en sfeer terug te brengen.
